Visitors' Centre 'De Boswinkel'
Entering the Bos through the main entrance at the Van Nijenrodeweg, you won’t be able to miss Visitors’ Centre 'De Boswinkel'. With its domed shape and curved wooden finishing, it is a worthy entrance to one of the largest city parks in Europe.
Well begun is half done. The shop at Visitors’ Centre 'De Boswinkel' sells maps to help you navigate your way around the Forest. Just remember that the Amsterdamse Bos is three times the size of New York’s Central Park!
If you have any forest-related questions, please visit the 'De Boswinkel'. Our staff will be delighted to help you. It is also a perfect place to buy souvenirs or enjoy a relaxing drink or organic snack after a forest walk. 'De Boswinkel' also offers visitors free admission to changing exhibitions.
'De Boswinkel' is open daily (except on Monday) from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
