In several places throughout the Amsterdamse Bos, you can enjoy delicious food and drinks. There are two farm cafés, and in summer a number of kiosks open their doors. You’ll also find lovely restaurants and cafés at the forest’s entrance and along its edges.
De Bosbaan
Enjoy the beautiful view of the rowing course and the lush surroundings at Restaurant De Bosbaan. It’s the perfect spot for a cup of coffee, a drink, dinner, or a celebration. The venue is also available for meetings and events.
Chez Favié
Along the Duizendmeterweg you’ll find Pavilion Chez Favié. Open year-round with a welcoming terrace, it’s a great place to stop for a bite to eat or a refreshing drink. Dogs are warmly welcomed too.
Zuiver
After a workout or beauty treatment, unwind at Hotel & Wellness ZUIVER. With its south-facing terrace, it’s an inviting spot for a drink, dinner, or celebration.
De Veranda
Located on the Amstelveenseweg near the main entrance of the Amsterdamse Bos, this beautifully designed brasserie offers a warm and inviting atmosphere including a sunny terrace, overlooking the Forest.
Kiosks
In summer, you can stop here for a light snack, coffee or soft drink. Toilet facilities are available in or near the kiosks in the Bos.
Goat farm
Enjoy delicious organic dishes prepared from fresh farm produce on the terrace while the children have fun among the animals.
Boerderij Meerzicht
After a lovely walk, you can enjoy a cup of coffee here, eat the most delicious pancakes in Amsterdam or play in the playground.
Horse riding centres
The Amsterdamse Bos is home to two riding schools: Manege Nieuw Amstelland and De Amsterdamse Manege. Both feature pleasant terraces where you can enjoy something to eat and drink.
Visitor centre De Boswinkel
Discover the new catering facility at the Boswinkel. At our renovated location, you can stop by during your forest walk for a drink, snack or special group event.
